First Graze Unboxing!

Hello Everyone!

I am starting this blog as a way to share my experiences with different subscription boxes and also maybe to share some product reviews and recipes! I am not sure if you guys have ever heard of a subscription box, but it is usually a monthly service where you pay a company a set amount of money to send you a box of stuff (depending on what you like)! There are hundreds of types of boxes for food, makeup, men, women, fitness, pets, and sooo much more! A site with a pretty good list of them and their prices is www.mysubscriptionaddiction.com!

Anyway, for my first boxes I have signed up for Graze, Birch Box, and Love with Food! I will be sharing more info on the boxes as they arrive. But my first box to arrive has been a Graze box. Graze is a $6.99 (shipping included) subscription that can be sent every week, every two weeks, or every month. In your box you receive 4 sampling's of  graze's all-natural snacks and trail mixes! I have signed up for Graze because they were doing 50% off of your first two boxes, so my first boxes will only be $3.49!!!

Here is a photo of my first Graze Box:

As you can see the box is rather small and thin which meant that the portion sizes were pretty small too, but it came with a welcome card (photo on the right) which tells you a bit about Graze and gives the nutrition information for each of your snacks! It also came with a coupon code: D7RZ6HYKB which will make your 1st and 5th Graze boxes free!

Let's take a look at the snacks, something important about the snacks at graze is that you get to go online and choose the items that you think you would like to try! And if you see something that you know you would never like, you can just tell them not to send it, which I think is great.

Strawberry ShortCake:
This was definitely one of my favorite snacks, it consisted of raw pistachios, strawberry drops, yogurt coated strawberry pieces, and small vanilla cookies. I really could have eaten a whole bag of this, and I wish they sold it at the store because I hate trail mix that has raisins!

El Picante:
This was another mix that I enjoyed, but it didn't exactly wow me. It consisted of mini paprika breadsticks, jumbo salted corn (basically corn nuts), and hot chili peanuts. It was flavorful, with a bit of a kick, but was absolutely something I could recreate or find at the grocery store. Probably won't get this again because I am so looking foward to all the new types of snacks Graze has to offer!

Deconstructed Carrot Cake:
I actually did not try this mix because it didn't sound that great to me, but I gave it to my mother and she said it was pretty okay. Consisted of: carrot chews, ginger fudge, walnuts, and cinnamon flavored rasins.

Summer Berry Compote with Shortbread Dippers:
This was my absolute favorite snack! These little shortbread cookies were delicious and the berry jam/compote was amazing, I was so sad to have only 3 cookies! I am determined to find something similar to this snack at the store and will definitely move it up on my Graze settings so they will send it again!

All in all I was very impressed with my first Graze Box and am looking forward to receiving the next one (especially since I ate all my snacks in one night)! However, I will say I was a little disappointed with the portion sizes, each snack was probably about 1/2 cup of mix or roughly 1oz. I know that this box is worth the $3.49 that I will be paying for my first two boxes, and I would even be willing to pay $5 or so, but $7 is probably going to be a little out of the range I am willing to pay after the promotion ends.

Looking forward to receiving my next subscription will be sure to let you guys know how it goes! Expect another post sometime mid-February!
